The Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Mass is most surely one of the best books I have ever read. Though the book Throne of Glass is the first one in a series that has become an addiction to those who have read it.
So let's see.

This book is an extremely powerful story of a young 18-year-old assassin named Celaena Sardothien. After serving out a year of hard labor in the salt mines of Endovier for her crimes, she is dragged before the Crown Prince. Prince Dorian offers her her freedom on one condition: she must act as his champion in a competition to find a new royal assassin.
Her opponents are men-thieves and assassins and warriors from across the empire, each sponsored by a member of the king's council. If she beats her opponents in a series of eliminations, she'll serve the kingdom for four years and then be granted her freedom. Celaena finds her training sessions with the captain of the guard, Westfall, challenging, and exhilarating. But she's bored stiff by court life. Things get a little more interesting when the prince starts to show interest in her ... but it's the gruff Captain Westfall who seems to understand her best.
Then one of the other contestants turns up dead ... quickly followed by another. Can Celaena figure out who the killer is before she becomes a victim? As the young assassin investigates, her search leads her to discover a greater destiny than she could possibly have imagined.
The book is a thriller and a very engaging one. This book shows courage and the grit and the determination of a young girl. It ends as a cliffhanger which makes it even more appealing for the readers to look out for the next book.
“Libraries were full of ideas—perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.”
- Celaena Sardothien
This quote makes readers feel connected to the protagonist. This book made me sit on the edge of the seat and wait. The twists and turns in the book.
Man! Sarah J. Mass has truly excelled herself in this series.
I would surely recommend this book for the readers who are fans of YA and Fantasy. I surely loved it.
Look for more reviews on the rest of the books in this series soon!
Thank you. Bye.
Sirisha, over and out.
