Well, this is a different topic than what I posted last week. This is one of the more recent topics that I have studied in my class. So, I thought, why not share.

I came across this beautiful and very POWERFUL video in my research. I wanted to share it with y'all.

So, after watching this video, we do realize that #LikeAGirl has become an insult to many.

But why?

Is being a girl a bad thing. Is it a sin?

NO.

Being a "Good Kicker", "Good Swimmer", "Good Runner", etc. is not a blemish on our feminism. Instead, it is the crown that a woman should wear. That is what I think.

Sometimes we don't even realize that we are stereotyping.

But this has to stop.

Now even the women are being embarrassed about being a female.

But, WHY?!

Now I want to share another video. Most of you may know this infamous woman from her infamous role as "Hermione Granger" from Harry Potter.

Yes, Emma Watson.

This is her speech.

This is one of my favorite speeches related to Gender Equality.

It is APPALLING to see that women are deigning to recognize themselves as Feminists as they are being considered too MANLY, BOSSY, or too HYSTERICAL. Feminists are considered as MAN-HATERS.

Sorry to say, but this is all make-belief.

Being too muscular or stronger than a man is not something to be disgusted by. It is something to be proud of.

Being a feminist is something to be proud of.

So, now, are you a FEMINIST?
